Course Structure and Study Plan
The Master in Steel and Composite Construction has 120 ECTS and a duration of 4 academic semesters (120 ECTS). The course has a curricular structure that comprises 3 curricular units of mandatory training, 10 elective units (with 6 ECTS each), followed by the Master’s dissertation. This curricular unit corresponds to (12 + 30) ECTS and takes place during the 3rd and 4th semesters and, aims to consolidate the application and integration of the knowledges acquired throughout the course with strong applied bent and whenever possible in a business environment. The units are grouped in 6 scientific areas: Design, Technology, Management, Sustainability, Advanced Theory and Computation. The elective units may be conditioned according to the Article 15 of the Regulation of the FCTUC 2nd Cycle Studies.

The tuition fees for academic year 2021/22 are as follows: National Students or Equivalent (per year): €1500 International students (per year): €5000 (in the process of registering in the course, each international student will receive an incentive R&D scholarship that effectively reduces the tuition fee from 7000€ to 5000€).
